Residential facilities on campus, and hostels for students and research scholars are well designed to give a comfortable living experience. Necessary facilities for learning and recreation are provided in the hostel blocks. Well-equipped modern kitchen provides a variety of menu consisting of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meal options. Food outlets and tuck shops are also available for students to indulge in along with regular mess and canteen facility
All measures are taken to ensure that the campus is a safe and secure place for students to stay. Wardens ensure that the students are attended to. They take care of student’s medical and other essential support regularly. Strict compliance is adhered to ensure that the campus follows “No Ragging” ethos.
Modern state-of-the-art infrastructure, wireless technology for mobility and accessibility, health center with doctor on 24X7 duty, and security, etc are part of residential facilities on campus.

Hostels
Hostels for Men
SRM University – AP offers 6 hostel blocks exclusively for male students. Each block accommodates between 300 to 1000 students. The total capacity of the men’s hostel is approximately 4,000.
Hostels for Women
There are 3 dedicated hostel blocks for female students at SRM University – AP. Each block houses between 250 to 600 students. The total capacity of the women’s hostel is around 1,500.
International Hostel
A dedicated International Hostel is available for global students at SRM University – AP. The hostel offers capacity ranging from 150 to 300 students per block. It ensures a vibrant and inclusive living space, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds.

How to Apply?
- Application for admission to the hostel for the first year and renewal for subsequent years should be made online through https://srmap.edu.in only.
- Online hostel booking schedules for first-year students will be communicated directly, and for senior students, it will be announced through the SRM-AP student portal well in advance.
- First-year students who have completed all admission formalities and have the SRM-AP NetID and password will be eligible for hostel admission after the hostel booking portal opens.
- Students must be formally admitted to stay in the hostel. Admission or renewal can be refused if necessary.
- Every student must submit an undertaking before occupying the hostel, agreeing to abide by the rules and regulations of the hostels and the discipline policy in force.
