Research Interests
The work on Information Theoretic Security involves determination of secret channel capacity for various channel models and under various channel states and fading conditions. The work also entails designing of practical codes for implementation of the analytical results.
The research in IoT was so far focussed on building an independent IoT Network (patented) – specifically in the 220MHz range in order not to overcrowd the traditional ISM band. Currently the research involves implementation and prototyping various smart technologies as application of IoT such as smart agriculture, smart waste management, smart street lighting, smart locks, Bluetooth tracking and so on.
Vehicle to Vehicle Communication: Channel measurement and modelling for V2V, V2I and I2I communication for various frequency ranges. The work also explores the application of such results to Intelligent Transportation System framework.
