SRM University-AP provided me with a transformative experience. I had the opportunity to be a Global Exchange Student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, which helped me build a global perspective on engineering practices. I am also honoured to have received the Silver Medal in Civil Engineering, a recognition that reflects the guidance and encouragement I received from my professors and peers at SRM AP. Looking back, SRM AP has been more than just a place of learning; it has equipped me with the skills, confidence, and global outlook needed to take on future challenges and opportunities. Thanks to the research foundation I built at SRM AP, I secured a graduate student researcher position with full-time funding at UC Davis. I’m now working at one of the best research laboratories in California, the UC Pavement Research Center (UCPRC). The support from my faculty at SRM AP helped me take my next step to UC Davis, where I’m now focused on sustainable transportation infrastructure. SRM AP taught me that success isn’t only about academics but also about personal growth, giving back, and inspiring others.
