Research Interests
Image processing, computer vision and pattern recognition, image denoising, or more specifically, automated image and video analysis through detection, discriminative feature extraction and segmentation methods.
Focused on the interdisciplinary application of digital signal processing and image processing techniques particularly in the medical field, biometrics and bioinformatics.
