Our BA/BSc programmes will help students interpret and experience the world around them. Invaluable skills like communication, critical thinking and problem solving are the core of this programme. Our undergraduate programme aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and intellectual foundation – across humanities and social sciences – for a competitive advantage and enduring career success. In the first year of the BA/BSc programme, students are introduced to carefully crafted interdisciplinary courses in the liberal arts and social sciences. Students can choose their areas of specialisation in the following year.

Easwari School of Liberal Arts students also have access to robust support including Workshops, Seminars and learning centres for assistance with language and skill and competency development. Our faculty mentors offer full-time support to each student throughout his or her academic journey at SRM AP.

UNIQUE CURRICULUM
An exposure to diverse areas of English, with the courses falling under five broad categories:
  • Unique Courses that are offered only in SRM UNIVERSITY-AP (e.g., Code Name Language, Mind, Myth and Metaphor)
  • Foundational Courses (e.g., Introduction to Communicative English and Critical Thinking)
  • Theory Driven Core Courses (e.g., English Language Learning, Popular Fiction)
  • Courses with Practical Application (e.g., Technical and Creative Writing)
MINOR AND ADDITIONAL COURSES
In addition to majoring in English, there is an option to take additional courses, in disciplines such as Economics, History, Journalism, Computer Science, or Mathematics
OPTIONAL 4TH YEAR AND TRAINING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
The three-year Bachelor programme is extendable to an optional fourth year specially curated to make the students aware of the cutting edge research being done in Literary Studies worldwide. Special coaching will also be provided to the students willing to pursue higher education in world-class universities including the Ivy League institutions. The 4th year also gives students a provision to submit a research thesis, a prerequisite for admission applications to premier universities in the USA and Europe. The 4th year facilitates a smooth transition to higher studies without losing an additional year
FOUNDATION FOR COMPETITIVE EXAMS
The curriculum is designed to enhance confidence to appear for national and international level competitive exams (e.g., GRE, UPSC, UGC-NET) and secure admissions in reputed universities in India and abroad
INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIONS

SRM University-AP has collaborations with many eminent institutions including University of Wisconsin, Madison, Illinois Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, Flinders University, Australia etc. SRM- AP students gain global exposure through the unique opportunity of spending a semester (or an academic visit) abroad, based on merit. Qualified lab assistants will add more to learning experiences using this software in Active Learning Classrooms. MINOR
The students of SRM UNIVERSITY-AP have an option of obtaining minors from other disciplines of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences such as Economics, Psychology, English, and Journalism.
OPTIONAL 4TH YEAR AND TRAINING FOR HIGHER EDUCATION
The three-year Honours programme is extendable to an optional fourth year. The programme is fine-tuned to make the students aware of the cutting edge research being done worldwide in the discipline of History. Further, we train them to prepare for admissions in world-class universities including the Ivy League institutions for their higher studies. It also gives them the provision to submit a BA thesis which is a pre-requisite in applying to premier universities in the USA and Europe, facilitating a smooth transition to higher studies without losing an additional year
HISTORY WITH A PURPOSE

The curriculum has been comprehensively set to meet the requirements of UPSC Examinations, covering almost all aspects of the General Studies papers of both the preliminary and main examinations. Besides, students are also trained for various other national and international competitive exams such as UGC NET, PSC, GRE, and TOEFL

The BSc Programme in Economics at SRM University-AP has several unique features. The Programme is exible and designed to expose the students to fundamental economic theories as well as quantitative methods. The Programme makes the student both conceptually and analytically strong in Economics. The programme includes fundamental theories in Microeconomics & Macroeconomics, International Trade & Finance and Public Economics. In addition to mathematical methods, statistical methods and econometrics, R-studio & Python programming. The students will also become familiar with Indian Economic Problems, Databases and Policy Aspects. An additional merit of this programme is that it exposes the students to emerging areas in economics such as Financial Economics, Agricultural Economics, and Environmental Economics. The programme culminates with a research-based dissertation on a topic of relevance chosen by the student
