The curriculum of the undergraduate programme in Computer Science and Engineering covers topics related to computer hardware and software. Active learning is the pedagogy followed by the faculty to implement the teaching-learning process. Technology enabled platforms are also used by the faculty members to teach programming and algorithm-related subjects
efficiently.
Students are encouraged to do research oriented projects, multidisciplinary and special projects. Students are also given opportunities to get international exposure through semester abroad programme (SAP).
Demonstrate proficiency in analysis, design, and development of competent solutions by applying algorithmic techniques, software modelling, mathematical foundations and theory of computation.
Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering. specialisation in the solution of complex engineering problems.
Undergraduate Research Opportunities Project (UROP) is an innovative idea being facilitated to 3rd year Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) students in their 6th semester. UROP is made compulsory for all 3rd year CSE students so as to engage them in research activities at an early stage.
